Making a splash at Padiham

There is a ripple of energy around Padiham this week as news that AquaShots the Underwater Photography specialist is about.

During no less than 5 separate swimming lesson sessions, AquaShots Underwater Photographer, Anne-Marie Tomlinson will be submerged for a total of 3 hours while taking pictures of children at Pahiham Leisure Centre.

Natalie Metcalf, the manager of the centre, said she had never seen anything like it in the 18 years she had been working in the swimming industry. Not only is it a novel keepsake for their children but parents have an opportunity to have a photograph that they can not get themselves.

The law is tight with the use of cameras in aquatic areas so parents will need to sign a consent form to have their child photographed. In addition to this there is a further portrait agreement provided by AquaShots for parents. Upon completion of the mammoth photo-shoot, all images will be in private password protected galleries that only the parent may have access to with their unique login details.

Anyone wanting to book in to this session are advised that only the children participating in swimming lessons at Padiham Leisure Centre are permitted to participate as this is an exclusive booking through the centre. Other pools wishing to hold such photo-shoots are invited to contact Aquashots.
