AquaShots has revealed the secret behind their aptly named Dolphin Decent pose.
An Underwater Photography pose exclusive to AquaShots has been the best kept secret in Lancashire, until now.
There are several ways pose for a portrait sitting. There is the classic forward facing position where the model is looking directly into the lens. A popular look is the mother and baby arrangement, where either can look at the camera or each other, but "The Dolphin Decent" pose is a truely unique look which bares the AquaShots signature.
When it comes to portraiture, underwater photography is the most challenging method of photography. The technical challenges associated with the way light travels through water, disputing colour balance and creating convex angles makes underwater photography an ambitious profession.
Despite this encumbrance AquaShots goes one step further and achieves an original perspective, by defying natural buoyancy and creating a never before seen approach to capturing a unique expression.
With tireless creativity, AquaShots conceived "The Dolphin Decent", when on a photo-shoot during a particularly busy session. With a pool filled with excited children, Anne-Marie hid under the water, using her anti-buoyancy equipment.
It was at this moment that the surface of the water showed it's true potential. Her subjects where instructed how to enter the water for maximum effect and a new pathway was etched out for an alternative perspective in portrait photography.
